The Productivity Sketchbook #17: Do What You Do Because You Love It

I took a break from social media (Twitter in particular) over the last couple of weeks.

They were some of the best weeks I've had in recent memory.

I wasn't constantly worried about whether my latest post on Twitter (or X) got a bunch of impressions or likes.

I wasn't worried about cranking out content just for the sake of having something to post.

I was able to enjoy doing things I love: spending time with loved ones, reading, drawing for the fun of it.

It's clear to me I need to shift my focus from analyzing data to creating content because I enjoy it. As Ron Swanson from Parks and Recreation says:

"Don't start chasing applause and acclaim. That way lies madness." - Ron Swanson, Parks and Recreation

May we all do what we do because we love it.

What to Draw

Last week's word was Knowledge. Here's the ideas I came up with:

Image ideas for the word Knowledge

Knowledge is a similar word to Learning, which we came up with images for a few weeks ago.

I included the graduation cap in both Learning and Knowledge to show how you can use the same image to represent different things.

This week's word is:

Autumn

Sketch out what pops into your mind and share it in the comments below. As always, I'll be sharing my answers in the next issue!
