Wrapping Up the Year 2023

Hello all!

What a busy and amazing year it's been! I wanted to start off by saying thank you for subscribing to and supporting this newsletter venture of mine. It has changed a lot during the year and a half I've been writing it. Thank you for sticking with me even when my focus shifts from one "niche" topic to the next.

I can't say definitively that my focus won't change again in the future, but for now I'm enjoying exploring the concept of gamifying productivity. I've enjoyed the development work I've had the opportunity to do on my gamified productivity app, and hope to speed up the development heading into next year.

If you've missed any of the dev logs so far, you can check them out here:

Join me on my journey of making a useful (yet fun!) task management app.

While it has become a lesser focus for me, I'm still going to share content around Sketchnoting. I just finished up Sketchnoting each chapter of the excellent book Atomic Habits by James Clear. You can check out the whole series here:

As the year is coming to a close, I'm going to be taking some time off to enjoy the holidays, but also get a heads start on what I'll be making and sharing in 2024. There'll be more gamified task manager dev logs, as well as other experiments around gamifying your productivity system. It's going to be fun and I can't wait!

I encourage each of you to take a break during this holiday season and enjoy some well earned rest. I wrote about taking a break in my newsletter last December, which you can read (or re-read) here:
